We are a licensed and insured painting contractor operating in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
2. Form Submission and Contact Consent
When you request a free estimate or reach out through the Website, you allow us to use your information as described in the Privacy Policy. You also give us clear permission to contact you by:

- Estimates are based on visible conditions at the time of inspection.
- Extra charges may apply if hidden damage, repairs, or changes in scope are found during the project.
- We may revise pricing if material costs change significantly between the estimate and the project start.
- All estimates are delivered in writing by email or as a printed proposal.
5. Service Agreements and Contracts
Once an estimate is accepted, we will issue a formal service agreement that sets out:
- Detailed scope of work
- Total project cost and payment schedule
- Projected start and completion dates
- Materials and paint products to be used
- Preparation and cleanup procedures
- Warranty terms
Both parties must sign the service agreement before work starts. Verbal agreements are not binding.
6. Payment Terms
Payment for painting services is governed by the following terms:
- A deposit may be required before work begins, typically 25–50% of the total project cost.
- The remaining balance is due when the project is complete unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Accepted payment methods: check, credit card, debit card, electronic bank transfer, or cash.
- Late payments are subject to a 1.5% monthly interest charge (or the maximum allowed by Pennsylvania law).
- Returned checks are subject to a $35 fee.
- Work may be paused if payments are not received as agreed.
7. Scheduling and Project Timelines
We work hard to start and finish projects as scheduled. Still:
- Start dates are estimates and may shift because of weather, material availability, or unexpected site conditions.
- Exterior painting in Allentown depends on weather; rain, extreme heat, cold, or humidity can delay work.
- We will notify you promptly about any schedule changes.
- We are not responsible for delays caused by events beyond our control (see Force Majeure).
8. Customer Responsibilities
To help the project run smoothly, customers agree to:
- Provide reasonable access to the work area during scheduled hours.
- Remove or secure personal belongings, fragile items, and valuables from work areas.
- Keep pets and children away from work areas for safety.
- Tell us about any known hazards, such as lead paint, asbestos, or mold, before work begins.
- Obtain any required HOA approvals or local permits.
- Provide access to water and electricity as needed.
9. Surface Preparation and Repairs
Our standard preparation typically includes:
- Cleaning surfaces to be painted
- Scraping, sanding, and priming as needed
- Caulking gaps and cracks
- Minor drywall repairs (nail holes, small dents)
Major repairs such as large drywall patches, wood rot replacement, or structural repairs are not included unless the service agreement specifically says otherwise. Work beyond standard preparation will be billed separately.
10. Paint Products and Materials
- We use high-quality paints and materials from trusted manufacturers, including Sherwin-Williams and Benjamin Moore.
- The specific products selected will be listed in your service agreement.
- Color selections must be finalized before work begins. Changes after painting has started may result in additional charges.
- We are not responsible for minor color differences between samples and finished surfaces caused by lighting, surface texture, or sheen variations.
11. Warranty
Allentown Paint Pros provides a warranty on workmanship:
- Interior painting: 2-year warranty against peeling, blistering, or chipping caused by improper application.
- Exterior painting: 1-year warranty against peeling, blistering, or chipping caused by improper application.
Warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear
- Damage caused by the customer, third parties, or pets
- Damage from moisture intrusion, settling, or structural movement
- Fading due to UV exposure
- Surfaces not prepared or painted by Allentown Paint Pros
- Failure of pre-existing substrates or coatings
Warranty claims must be submitted in writing during the warranty period.
12. Cancellation and Rescheduling
- Customers may cancel or reschedule a project with at least 48 hours notice at no charge.
- Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice may forfeit the deposit.
- If work has already begun, the customer is responsible for payment for work completed and materials purchased.
- We reserve the right to reschedule because of weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
13. Satisfaction Guarantee
Your satisfaction matters to us. If you are not happy with the finished work:
- Let us know within 7 days of project completion.
- We will perform a walkthrough and resolve valid concerns at no additional cost.
- Final payment is due once any agreed-upon touch-ups are completed satisfactorily.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by Pennsylvania law:
- Allentown Paint Pros is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
- Our total liability will not exceed the amount paid for services under the applicable service agreement.
- We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, hidden defects, or conditions that were not visible during the initial estimate.
15. Insurance and Licensing
Allentown Paint Pros maintains:
- General liability insurance to help protect your property during the project.
- Workers' compensation insurance for our employees.
- All required Pennsylvania and local business licenses.
Certificates of insurance are available upon request.
16. Disputes and Resolution
We aim to resolve concerns fairly and amicably. If a dispute arises:
- Contact us directly so we can discuss the issue.
- If it remains unresolved, both parties agree to try mediation before taking legal action.
- Any legal dispute will be governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
- Venue for any legal proceedings shall be in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania.
17. Intellectual Property
All content on the Website — including text, images, logos, and project photos — belongs to Allentown Paint Pros or its licensors. You may not use, copy, or distribute it without permission.
Project photos taken by Allentown Paint Pros may be used in our portfolio, marketing materials, and social media unless the customer asks us not to in writing.
18. Reviews and Testimonials
By submitting a review, testimonial, or feedback, you give Allentown Paint Pros a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display that content for marketing purposes. You confirm that the content is truthful and reflects your actual experience.
19. Third-Party Links
The Website may include links to third-party websites, such as paint manufacturers or review platforms. We are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or terms of use.
20. Lead Paint Disclosure
Homes built before 1978 may contain lead-based paint. Allentown Paint Pros follows EPA RRP (Renovation, Repair, and Painting) guidelines when working in older homes. Customers must disclose any known lead paint presence before work begins. Additional fees may apply for lead-safe work practices.
21. Force Majeure
Allentown Paint Pros is not responsible for delays or failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Severe weather conditions common to the Lehigh Valley
- Natural disasters
- Pandemics or public health emergencies
- Supply chain disruptions
- Labor shortages
- Government orders or regulations
22. Severability
If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the rest will remain in full force and effect.
23. Changes to Terms
We may revise these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on the Website with a new effective date. Continued use of the Website or our services means you accept the revised Terms.
